Dr Marios Efthymiou completed physician training at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne and subsequently completed successive fellowships through St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne and the world renowned St Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, Canada. He is the Deputy Head of Endoscopy at the Austin Hospital. He regularly performs cutting edge endoscopic procedures at the Austin Hospital and participates in clinics and ward service as well as the on-call roster. He has expertise in general gastroenterology, hepatology and all aspects of advanced interventional endoscopy including ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound, capsule endoscopy, double balloon enteroscopy and endoscopic mucosal resection.
